Seakeeper Introduces New HD Line Optimized
for Commercial and Military Applications

Four new models bring stabilization to vessels in harshest sea conditions

CALIFORNIA, Md. (November 29, 2016) – Seakeeper Inc., the leader in marine stabilization, announced today the launch of the Seakeeper HD line, developed specifically for commercial and military vessels. By reducing up to 95% of boat roll, each Seakeeper HD gyroscope improves crew members’ safety and helps increase profitability by enabling vessels to work in rougher conditions for longer periods of time. The new line consists of the Seakeeper 7HD, Seakeeper 12HD, Seakeeper 20HD, and Seakeeper 30HD.

The Seakeeper HD models create a land-like experience on the water, reducing crew fatigue and risk of injury on commercial and military vessels including workboats, crew transfer boats, pilot boats, patrol boats, survey boats, and interceptors. Unlike traditional fin stabilizers, Seakeeper gyros are completely internal, reducing the risk of snags and avoiding the increased drag that accompanies other stabilization methods. Built to withstand the most hazardous offshore conditions, Seakeeper backs the HD line with a four-year major component warranty and a two-year all-inclusive warranty.

“In many industries, effective marine stabilization is the difference between a safe, productive crew and a day cut short by hazardous working conditions,” said Andrew Semprevivo, Seakeeper’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “With a Seakeeper HD on board, commercial operators can be confident they are providing their crews with the highest levels of stabilization while improving their bottom lines by keeping their vessels on the water for longer periods of time.”

Orders for the HD line can be placed now, and the units will begin shipping in January 2017.
