What’s your title with Seakeeper?

Customer Support Supervisor

Briefly describe your role at Seakeeper as if you were explaining it to someone in another department. What’s your day-to-day like? What’s your piece in the Seakeeper puzzle?

The support team is responsible for answering Dealer and customer inquiries regarding a Seakeeper unit. These inquiries range from service and troubleshooting to maintenance and operation. It is my job to oversee that we are handling these inquiries correctly and in a timely manner.

What were you doing before you joined the Seakeeper team?

I was a commercial lines sales executive for an insurance agency.

When did you start at Seakeeper?

01/19/2021

How have things changed since then?

The support team has transitioned under the Aftermarket team which has been a great experience. It has aligned both service and sales and created a great and productive work environment.

What’s the most interesting or challenging job you’ve been confronted with at Seakeeper?

We deal with some of the unpleasant times that Seakeeper customers experience with their unit and the challenging part is the ability to ensure we are doing everything we can to fix the issue at hand effectively, while still maintaining customer confidence and overall happiness.

What do you like most about working at Seakeeper?

I grew up boating and fishing. I loved it so much that I turned it into a career. The fact that I get to come to work every day and, in some capacity, share the thing I love with others is a great feeling. Being part of a company that manufactures, in my opinion, the most revolutionary product since the outboard motor is something I am proud of.

What do you find most challenging about your role?

Our goal is to decrease customer downtime in the most efficient way possible, and the challenges that come along with that can be complicated but need to be taken in stride.

Our company is growing fast—what advice would you give to new hires?

There is a lot of opportunity within Seakeeper, and that is something to be excited about. Capitalize on each situation that comes your way.

Who’s one person at Seakeeper that’s had the greatest impact on your time here?

It’s hard to narrow it down and I am probably a bit biased, but I would have to say the whole Support Team (Katie Gardiner, Ian Holly, Katrina Hinz, Chris Lombardo). I get to work alongside them every day and the work they put out is something they should be proud of.

Do you have a personal motto or mantra? What is it? Why?
