Course Schedule: 4 Days, Scheduled between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Course Objectives:
The Seakeeper Full-Service Technician Certification provides comprehensive training in maintaining and servicing Seakeeper stabilization systems. Technicians will first review Seakeeper Full-Service eLearning to understand system operations and troubleshooting. They will then focus on Seakeeper Electrical Systems, learning to diagnose and repair electrical issues, and service the Seakeeper 1, including brake and latch assembly maintenance. The training also covers Seakeeper Coolant Service, where technicians learn to replace and maintain coolant, ensuring optimal temperature regulation. Brake and bushing services are covered in detail, teaching proper inspection, lubrication, and replacement procedures. Additionally, technicians will gain expertise in Electrical Diagnosis, using tools like multimeters to identify and resolve faults. This certification ensures technicians are equipped to perform thorough maintenance and repairs, ensuring Seakeeper systems function at their best.
The Advanced Technician Certification focuses o the installation and integration of Seakeeper systems, with added training on advanced technical systems. Participants will review the Seakeeper Advanced Technician eLearning module and explore various installation options. The training covers the full installation process, including plumbing, seawater flowrate setup, and the correct installation of circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring. Additionally, it addresses Heili-coil installation and the integration of Seakeeper’s ConnectBox. Advanced technical systems training includes in-depth troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and optimization techniques, providing participants with comprehensive skills for effective installation, integration, and maintenance of Seakeeper systems.
Certification: Seakeeper certifications will be valid for 2 years from completion.
No Show Policy: If you cannot attend your scheduled course, you must contact training@seakeeper.com 48 hours before the class start. A “no show” is a registered Student who fails to notify Seakeeper that they will not attend their scheduled training course. A chargeback fee will be applied to the dealership. The fees are $300.00 per incident.
