Mechanical Assembler
I make sure the spheres are balanced in the gribvac area of assembly. I also help to train new employees and if needed, as well as helping in the foundation area of assembly.
I was working at FM Brown as a supervisor, material handler, and lead.
November 2021 – it was the day after Halloween!
We’ve hired a lot of new employees and a lot of new faces. Our plant layout is completely different. I’ve learned the different models because we now have the Seakeeper 10, Seakeeper 4.5 and Seakeeper 4 models. I haven’t learned the Seakeeper 14 yet, but I will!
I think it was to learn foundation assembly. I was in my comfort zone in the gribvac area and it was something completely different.
I think I’m a good trainer. I often train new hires for their roles and get positive feedback about their training experience!
I like my schedule of four 10-hour days and the opportunity to work overtime on Friday if needed.

You have to be good at multi-tasking.
Just one? My two are Rich Beeman and Larry Miller. They’ve trained me from day one and showed me new things.
I don’t say “that’s not my job.” We’re all a team and we all have to work together.
I’m going to be a first time Grandma – one is due October 31st and the second in December. Both of my girls blessed me at the same time!
