What’s your title with Seakeeper?

International Marketing Assistant

Briefly describe your role at Seakeeper as if you were explaining it to someone in another department. What’s your day-to-day like? What’s your piece in the Seakeeper puzzle?

My job involves developing marketing activities for the EMEA market and implementing area-targeted projects to support the business and increase brand awareness in our region. In February, I joined the great Marketing team, which has incredible experience and talented people to make magic happen.

What were you doing before you joined the Seakeeper team?

Before joining Seakeeper, I first worked in Milan organizing sports events and later in an HR department in the fashion industry.

When did you start at Seakeeper?

July 2019.

How have things changed since then?

I started the “first part” of my Seakeeper journey almost four years ago, working in the Sales department. Now, working in a different department, I still feel the same energy as I did on my first day. I have seen the company grow, invest, and new facilities take shape. Our office in Lavagna has grown; we have more people and a beautiful Seakeeper-blue training center.

What’s the most interesting or challenging job you’ve been confronted with at Seakeeper?

A recent example has been working on a video production to introduce the new Flyer 9 demo boat during Cannes 2022 with The Boat Show TV. What I find interesting about this kind of project is starting from scratch, an idea that takes shape step by step, going through pages of script, then to video sequences, up to the final result, a “product” of your work.

What is one of your biggest personal accomplishments at Seakeeper?

I can see all the steps I’ve made during this journey, and I truly appreciate the chance I have had to grow along the way, experiencing new challenges and different projects. That’s my accomplishment. I am also glad for the relationships established so far. I am very close to my teammates and feel lucky to travel and meet many colleagues at events, sharing both work and personal experiences.

What do you like most about working at Seakeeper?

Seakeeper reflects many positive aspects you dream of when thinking of a company to work for. Company culture, organization, goals for the future, flexibility, and people are all real here.

What do you find most challenging about your particular role?

Enhancing our brand awareness in countries where we see potential and growth opportunities and promoting Seakeeper by keeping our communication globally consistent but adding specific features to fit different scenarios and markets.

Our company is growing fast—what advice would you give to new hires?

Growth is the key word here, be open to change and do not hesitate to bring new ideas or suggestions: keep reaching!

Who’s one person at Seakeeper that’s had the greatest impact on your time here?

Tanja Lutz, since day one.

And shout-out to Mayli Curran and Kelsey Barrett for my new marketing challenge.
These ladies rock!

Do you have a personal motto or mantra? What is it? Why?

Take care. I appreciate the concept of dedication: to people, projects, and hobbies. Take care of what is important and meaningful for you, and give the best you can.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise the rest of us.

I wish I could say I am a pro surfer, but in reality, I barely catch baby waves, but I’ll get there!
