What’s your title with Seakeeper?

Dealer Sales Representative for Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa

Briefly describe your role at Seakeeper as if you were explaining it to someone in another department. What’s your day-to-day like? What’s your piece in the Seakeeper puzzle?

I develop and grow the Dealer network in my territory, including existing OEMs and new accounts. I also follow up on opportunities and ways to help the network grow in both sales and Seakeeper awareness.

What were you doing before you joined the Seakeeper team?

I worked for a yacht service company in Barcelona that was already a Seakeeper Dealer at the time.

When did you start at Seakeeper?

December 2018

How have things changed since then?

Seakeeper has grown massively in a short time. We have developed new products, hired new people, and partnered with many companies and accounts.

What’s the most interesting or challenging job you’ve been confronted with at Seakeeper?

For me, the key to success is the relationship you build with the people that you work with. Every account has to be treated differently and the challenge is to approach each of these accounts in the best way for that partnership. The relationships I’ve built with my accounts are the most interesting aspect of my job because they are my daily motivation to keep growing at Seakeeper.

What is one of your biggest personal accomplishments at Seakeeper?

Gaining more responsibility and more accounts, and earning the trust of my managers to be able to deliver more results.

What do you like most about working at Seakeeper?

Every day is different. Seakeeper allows you to work on different tasks which keep you motivated. It also gives you the flexibility to organize your workload.

What do you find most challenging about your particular role?

Finding new Dealers that will fit into the Seakeeper profile and be able to transmit the awareness and transparency we deliver to our customers.

Our company is growing fast—what advice would you give to new hires?

If you have the opportunity to join Seakeeper, enjoy the ride and make the most out of it.

Who’s one person at Seakeeper that’s had the greatest impact on your time here?

The person that hired me in the first place, Tanja Lutz. She brought me into the company and has given me the space and trust to grow inside of it. She has been my manager and teacher throughout and has shared with me many tools to grow personally and professionally.

Do you have a personal motto or mantra? What is it? Why?

I always tell myself that life is better if it’s full of “oh wells” rather than “what ifs”. This is my way of saying that trying new things and making mistakes will make you better.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise the rest of us.

I will become a professional padel player at some point in my life!
