REFIT YOUR BOAT

In most cases, the answer is YES! With our global Dealer network, there are expert installers nearby that are equipped with the knowledge and skill to refit almost any boat with a Seakeeper.

The Dealer will work with you to determine the best installation location for you and the way you use your boat.

Location is flexible. Regardless of where your Seakeeper is installed, either on or off centerline, performance will remain the same. That’s because it’s attached to the structure of the vessel and will distribute the same forces throughout the hull. However, we’ll do our best to install your Seakeeper midship-aft for optimal performance and longevity.

Common Installation Locations:

Boats ~7-12m (Seakeeper 1 – 4.5)

  • Bilge Space (below deck)
  • Center Console
  • Leaning Post
  • Engine Room

Boats ~12m+ (Seakeeper 5 – 40)

  • Engine Room
  • Lazarette
  • Cockpit (below deck)
  • Crew Quarters (below deck)
  • Accommodation Space / State Rooms (below deck)
  • Tender Garage

Cost of the Install:

€8,625 – €25,915 and up

Because no installation is the same, costs can vary. The actual cost of the installation can depend on a few factors:

  • Access: Positioning of the unit within the boat, potential modifications, and access to installation area.
  • Building the Structure: A strong structural foundation is required to properly support the unit if not already in place.
  • Selected Dealer & Location: Installation costs vary based on dealer labor rates and market factors.

Seakeeper’s Dealer network is at the ready around the world to help with any refit need you might have. We’ll connect you with a qualified Dealer in your area to schedule installation.

Seakeeper also comes standard or optional on new boats, with integration across thousands of vessels from premier boat builders around the world.

The average refit installation ranges from 1-3 weeks. For smaller boats, a unique leaning post design enables a refit to be done in as little as 48 hours.
