Junior NetSuite Developer
Along with working with the team to ensure daily NetSuite operations run smoothly, I develop solutions that can be integrated either internally or externally with our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
A routine day for me usually starts with looking at script execution logs for anything outstanding. A quiet log means a successful job done! I’ll then work with the team to complete any business system requests (more popularly known as IMRs).
I would think of myself as a solid-color middle puzzle piece – the ones that can be difficult to place as they blend in so easily. I like to blend within the company and learn about every department as much as possible so that I can aid them with optimizing their processes as they pertain to our ERP system.
I was in a very similar position as I am now though I am definitely kept more on my toes at Seakeeper!

The biggest notable change has been the launch of Seakeeper Ride.
I’ll combine the two! The most interesting challenge I’ve encountered at Seakeeper would have to be surrounding Seakeeper Ride operations. It’s been a fun “ride” learning the intricacies from the components that make up the products all the way to the care and consideration the team takes as they are shipped out the door.
Gaining the trust of my co-workers from different departments of the company.

Hear me out… the fact that almost every department process has a footprint within a singular system allows for “A Beautiful Mind” of data. With just a few clicks, a user can view where we are on a manufacturing level, what purchase orders we can expect at every location, sales forecasting and pipelines, marketing campaign leads, thorough financial reporting, and so much more!
It’s the one common business language we can all speak.
Knowing when not to customize. As much fun as I have creating something, I find it best to take a breath and first ask, “Is there a reason that a process is not natively available to us?”

On an executive and leadership level, Rebecca Smitha’s work ethic constantly inspires me and has had a significant impact on my professional growth.
On more of the day-to-day grind, working with Cole Harris reminds me that perseverance, a good attitude, and teamwork go a long way to make the job easier and more enjoyable.
Always remain humble.
I like to remind myself to practice humility. I believe it helps ensure that the worst of pride will never get in the way of learning and development, both professionally and personally. As much as I want to inspire others, moreover, I want to always be inspired.
