Seakeeper Expands its Staff and Support Worldwide

CALIFORNIA, Md., (October 22, 2015) – Seakeeper, the world leader in marine stabilization, is expanding at an unprecedented rate. Fresh off the heels of releasing its state-of-the-art Seakeeper 3DC, the company announces an expanded sales and service staff, additional certified service and installation centers around the globe, and a new location for the company’s Florida office.

To further enhance global sales support, additional representative positions were added. Maryland-based Bryan Billic joins Seakeeper as the Northeast & Great Lakes sales representative. Brady Atwater has been hired to better support retrofits in the Southeast and Gulf region and will be located in Fort Lauderdale.

Vimal Roy will focus on new builds and retrofits in the Middle East and will work out of Dubai, UAE. Italy-based Filippo Tomasoni has been enlisted to provide dedicated support to retrofit installations in Southern Europe. 2014 saw a 46% increase in shipments of gyros over the previous year.

To uphold Seakeeper’s commitment to providing its customers with top-notch service and technical support, the company has added several field service positions globally. Fabrizio Scardamaglio joins the team in Italy as a field service representative and James Callis supports the UK in the same role. Seakeeper veteran David McLean was promoted to service supervisor for the Europe and Middle East regions. At its Florida location, additional service techs Michael Cole and Matthew Gilligan were added.

To accommodate an expanding staff roster in the Florida region, Seakeeper recently relocated to a larger office. The new facility in Fort Lauderdale offers more office space and an increased capacity to store parts. This move provides even greater service and support to regional customers.

In addition to the direct expansion, Seakeeper has added numerous certified service and installation centers (CSIC) to better serve its growing global customer base. The new locations are in China, Croatia, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, and the US. The facilities also function as a base for continuing education. The company hired training coordinator Joey Greenwell to meet the growing need for staff training at the new and existing CSICs.
